"Super easy to find a time that works"
It’s been really easy to find a time that fits my schedule, especially on weekends. Really handy overall

"I picked up a few items here..."
I picked up a few items here as gifts and overall they were nice. The merch looked good, though I kind of assumed the prices would be a little lower for this type of stuff. Shipping was also slower than I expected, since I’m used to these kinds of orders arriving a bit faster. Still, the items were good once they got here...

"Nice perks for members"
The donor seats and early access have been really nice. There’s just something about it that makes being a member feel a little more worth it.

"Actually really helpful before the opera"
I mostly use metopera.org to read the program notes and synopses before I watch something. They actually make the story a lot easier to follow, especially when the plot gets kind of messy. They’re not too long either, just enough detail to keep me from feeling lost. It’s helped me enjoy a few operas that I probably would’ve struggled with otherwise

"A Beautiful Night at the Met"
I went to the Met Opera last weekend and had a really nice time. The building is gorgeous, and finding our seats was simple, which I appreciated. We got a little turned around at one point, but the staff were friendly and helped us out right away. The sound was amazing, even though we weren’t in the expensive seats. Drinks were definitely pricey, but that wasn’t too surprising. Overall, it felt special without feeling too formal or intimidating. I’d happily go back...

"I’ve been using metopera for maybe…"
I’ve been using metopera for maybe a few months now, and the video quality has been really solid, even just watching on my laptop. The sound is clear too, which is a big deal with opera. I’ve only had buffering maybe once or twice, nothing that really bothered me. Overall, I’d give it about 5 stars, definitely feels worth it to me.

The lineup is solid every time. The casting just feels right, like they actually know exactly who fits the vibe.

"Wheelchair Seating Was Smooth"
We needed wheelchair seating, and it worked out really well. From the moment we arrived, it was easy to get situated, and the view and space were comfortable. Based on our experience, it made the whole outing much less stressful.

"Tickets issue got sorted quick"
I bought my tickets and then they didnt show up right away, which kinda stressed me out. I messaged metopera support and they got back to me faster than I thought they would. The person was really nice, explained what happened, and fixed it without making me jump through a bunch of hoops. Easy experiance overall and I really appreciated that.

"Way more to watch than I expected??"
I originally signed up for Met Opera on Demand just to watch a couple specific operas, but wow, the catalog is huge?? There are older performances, newer HD ones, different casts, all kinds of stuff. I’ll go in planning to watch one thing and then suddenly I’m browsing five more. How am I supposed to pick?? I’m not on it every single day, but whenever I do use it, there’s always something new to me. i’m really glad I got it.

The singers sounded amazing, and I really enjoyed the show. I kept wondering if I was just caught up in the moment, but they were seriously impressive

"Booking was fine, but the seat views could be clearer"
I used metopera to pick seats for a show, and the actual booking process was mostly smooth. The seat map loaded okay, but it did take me a little while to compare the different sections and prices. My biggest issue was the view info. Some seats are marked as limited view, but it’s not always obvious what that really means or how bad the obstruction is. Not saying it’s a scam, but it did feel like I was kind of guessing when choosing seats. I really wish they had more real photos from each area. I still got my tickets without any trouble, so it wasn’t terrible, just not the most reassuring experience.

"I mostly use metopera for the live…"
I mostly use metopera for the live streams and the on-demand stuff, and it’s been really reliable for me. I haven’t had random freezing or those weird dropouts, even when I’m watching a longer opera. The video loads fast, the sound stays in sync, and that’s really the main thing I care about. Every now and then I’ll refresh if my own Wi-Fi is being annoying, but the site itself has been steady, steady. Overall, I’m happy with it.

"Emails were clear, thankfully"
I had a question about my tickets and, thankfully, their email response was actually clear and helpful. No confusing back-and-forth or extra nonsense, just the info I needed. They got back to me quickly too, which I appreciated.

"I was skeptical, but the opera subscription paid off quickly"
I’ll be honest, I signed up for the subscription half-expecting there to be some catch. I’m always a little worried about being fooled by deals that sound better than they are. But after just a couple of opera nights, it was clear the savings were real. If you go even semi-regularly, it adds up fast. I’m glad I gave it a try.

"A little patience, but they came through"
I had to exchange my tickets and later ended up needing a refund for one of my orders. It wasn’t instant, and I did have to wait a bit, but support eventually got back to me and took care of everything. It reminded me that not every process is completely smooth, but what matters is whether the company follows through — and in this case, they did. Not perfect, but overall I’d still call it a good experience.

"Strong season lineup, though my opera-nerd side wants a few bolder picks"
I mostly use The Metropolitan Opera to keep an eye on the season and see what’s coming up, and overall it does the job really well. As someone who definitely thinks of myself as an opera fan, I appreciate that there’s a solid mix of big classics and a few newer works sprinkled in.
The only reason I’d put it at 4 stars instead of 5 is that part of me wishes the programming got a little more adventurous sometimes. Still, the site is easy to follow, and there’s almost always something on the schedule that makes me think, “Yeah, I’d go see that.”

"I was just trying to find tickets…"
I was just trying to find tickets quickly, and, like, this made it easy. I found what I needed fast, which was kind of a relief because I really didn’t want to spend a bunch of time searching around.

"Fair pricing and no nasty surprises"
I’ve used The Metropolitan Opera a few times now, the pricing seems fair to me, especially for what you’re getting, right? The fees are shown before you actually pay, so I never felt like they were sneaking anything in at checkout. That matters a lot because some ticket sites can be really frustrating with random extra costs. I wouldn’t say it’s super cheap or anything, but for opera tickets, it feels reasonable. It’s easy to understand, there weren’t any surprise charges, and overall I’m happy with it.

"Mostly Smooth, But the Website Had to Be Annoying"
I bought tickets on metopera.org it was mostly fine. The seat map was clear enough, checkout didn’t drag on forever, and I got my confirmation email right away, which was a relief. But of course the page randomly got stuck and I had to refresh it once, because apparently nothing can just work perfectly the first time. After that, it went through without any issue. So overall, it was a good experience, just not as seamless as it should’ve been...
